We cannot recommend the Hagley Hall team and venue highly enough for a truly spectacular whilst at the same time personal and special wedding.
From arranging an initial visit and advising on suppliers, the planning and finer details to the day itself, Hagley Hall's entire wedding team were always welcoming, knowledgable and professional.
Hagley Hall is suitable for a larger wedding like ours or a smaller, more intimate event. It looks impressive without any decoration, offering a stunning space which you can adapt to personalise your wedding. We and our guests were wowed by the location, the grounds, the grand exterior architecture, elegant interiors and the fascinating history of the Hall. Our guests could not believe the amount of space - from the stunning entrance hall, romantic civil ceremony room (our guests - and the groom - enjoyed watching a cricket game in the grounds before the ceremony), the spectacular Long Gallery upstairs to the suite of downstairs rooms for the evening reception, which offer guests a choice of dancing the night away or relaxing and talking in the bar or lounge. It’s as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside, which means that it’s the perfect venue whatever the weather.
Tom is half Norwegian, and Hagley Hall were happy to accommodate our Norwegian traditions, including their event manager's good humoured Norwegian welcome at the start of the wedding breakfast and fitting a staggering nine speeches and songs into proceedings. Many guests said it was by far the best venue and wedding that they had attended.
