Over many years, Hagley Hall has built a solid reputation as a valued and versatile location for film, TV and photography shoots. The estate provides opportunities to recreate period settings, and to take advantage of the breadth of creative spaces that the whole estate has to offer. This is backed up with a proactive and flexible attitude to facilitating filming and photographic projects, working closely with production teams to ensure the smooth running of location shoots, whilst providing a range of practical facilities.

We have been selected for a variety of high-profile filming projects over the years, including war film Benediction, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as poet Siegfried Sassoon set in the first world war, as well as many visits from the BBC team, one being the TV drama Doctors in which many episodes have made excellent use of our library, kitchen, billiard and State Rooms.

Other projects have included a Bollywood movie, Netflix documentaries and smaller independent projects, all of which appreciating the charm and magnificent architecture our 18th century Palladian mansion has to offer. Set amidst 350 acres of breathtaking landscaped parkland, our prestigious location offers a collection of opulent rooms, each rich in history and stunning interiors, offering an amazing backdrop for shoots.

Hagley Park, set within the Hagley Hall estate is equally in demand, with centuries of history and follies to view, as well as an abundance of wildlife and nature to discover. We cater for both short and longer term filming opportunities and can provide parking for ample set and crew members.
